Ellen Grodjesk, originally from New York, earned her BA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Her professional journey began in publishing and evolved through roles as an art director before she ventured into establishing her own design business.

In 1998, Ellen relocated to Houston and embarked on a new career path in administrative roles, leveraging both her creative and organizational skills. Her diverse experience spans positions at Rice University, the Houston Zoo, the AIA, and ultimately, Financial Synergies. At Financial Synergies, Ellen thrives by fostering connections and building relationships, which she finds deeply fulfilling.

Ellen and her husband reside in West University with their 15-year-old dog, Dewey. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, exploring a wide range of music, and engaging in theater and the arts.

Ellen and her family have never regretted their decision to move to Houston, appreciating the city’s international flair, diverse amenities, and welcoming community.
