There is no investing crystal ball. No one knows when to get in or get out of the market consistently, or which investment category will be the “next hot asset class.” Recognizing the limits of our predictive abilities, we invest in a broadly-diversified mix of investments. This means that we may underperform a given index from time to time, like the Dow Jones or S&P 500. But what good is it to beat an arbitrary index if our clients don’t achieve their goals? So with that in mind, our objective is laser focused: Help our clients achieve their long-term goals by building durable investment portfolios and limiting volatility.
